The authors have reported an error in the current Class I AHA/HRS/ESC guideline indications for ICD as reported in their article (on page 1173 of the October 2019 issue).
The correct text should read as follows:
Current American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology/Heart Rhythm Society and European Society of Cardiology guidelines provide a class I recommendation for an ICD for the primary prevention of sudden cardiac death, based on LVEF and New York Heart Association (NYHA) functional class (Ischemic cardiomyopathy: LVEF ≤ 35% and NYHA functional class II or III HF; or LVEF ≤ 30% and NYHA functional Class I;Nonischemic cardiomyopathy: LVEF≤ 35% and NYHA functional Class II or III.
The Authors regret the error.
