Correlation of Left Atrial Activation Time With Low Voltage Area
Seventy-two patients underwent left atrial (LA) mapping in sinus rhythm with a cutoff for low voltage of 0.5 mV (left) or 1.0 mV (right). LA activation time (LAT) was measured from the point of earliest activation in the left atrium (usually toward the anterior septum) to the point of latest activation in the region of the LA appendage. Fourteen patients were mapped during coronary sinus pacing and are excluded in the analysis. Linear regression analysis of LAT versus the different low-voltage cutoff values are shown. The best-fitting line of linear regression (black line), the 95% confidence bands (black dashed line), and the 95% prediction bands (gray dashed lines) are shown.
